Market Update

All of our normal vegetable, salad and herb lines are good and reasonably priced with the following exceptions:

In Fruit,

New season Gala apples have started and are the best apples at the moment. Stored Pink Lady, Sundowner, Red Delicious and Granny Smith apples are all still available and good. Store apples covered in the fridge to keep them crisp.
New season Williams Pears are available and good value. Packham Pears have finished for now.
Australian Valencia Oranges are in season and good. Ruby Grapefruit are still available and good.
Australian Lemons are available again for this week. Limes are in season and good value.
Bananas are very good and relatively cheap.
Italian Kiwi Fruit are now in season. NZ Kiwi Fruit have finished for this season.
Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries are all feeling the heat and prices are up. Blueberries are the best quality and good value.
Grapes (Red and Green Seedless), Peaches, Nectarines and Plums are all in season and good. Mangoes, Apricots and Cherries have finished for this season.
Lychees are in season with some nice fruit available.
Figs are in season and good.
Passionfruit are still available but have started to get expensive again.
Pineapples, Rockmelon and Honey Dew are good and reasonably priced.
Seedless Watermelon is available and nice at the moment.
Red Papaya is available again. Yellow Papaw is unavailable at the moment.
